As Gas prices at the pump have continued to skyrocket throughout Joe Biden’s presidency and hilariously first tried to blame Russia’s Vladimir Putin for runaway prices, and then even more hysterically tried to pass the buck to the Republican Party.
And now another latest display of madness from the Dems have been occurred, in an effort to stop “climate change” that has Americans shaking their heads in disbelief, cities across California are now banning the building of new gas stations at the same time that the price of gas has never been higher and energy demands are skyrocketing.
Municipal authorities of a small Sonoma County city first started to challenge the permission procedure for a new gas station, ultimately stopping its development and all such in the future, without understanding they were initiating yet another “green energy” movement.
According to the LA Times, “Cities in California are banning the construction of new gas stations in an effort to fight climate change, despite record-high gas prices and the lack of scientific evidence that banning gas in California will have any effect on global temperatures.”
Councilwoman D’Lynda Fischer of Petaluma, California, who led the 2021 effort to forbid new gas stations in the 60,000-person community, was completely illiterate in her explanation of what the hell occurred and why.
“We didn’t know what we were doing, actually. We didn’t know we were the first in the world when we banned gas stations,” she said.
Well, it’s not like this was the first time a bunch of dimwitted Democrats hopped all over a ridiculous idea in search of an equally ridiculous cause, only to be hit with reality afterward.
The announcement coincides with California’s prior plans to outlaw the sale of gas-powered vehicles starting in 2035, as California’s nutjob governor, Gavin Newsom announced.
