When it comes to important stuff like free hip hop concerts, going to museums, dining in, going to gyms, etc, showing proof of ID and now Vaccination passports are not considered racist in Comrade DeBlasio’s NYC.
Well, ID to vote…that’s still racist.
Mayor Bill de Blasio announced Monday, the requirement which went into effect Aug. 17, is part of the city’s “Key to NYC Pass” program covering indoor dining, entertainment, and fitness activities.
Other cultural venues outlined in full by the executive order include movie theaters, music or concert venues, and botanical gardens.
Starting tomorrow, you’ll need proof of vaccination to unlock everything New York City has to offer. Valid proof of vaccine includes:

The coming weeks will serve as an educational and transition period, with the city slated to “conduct an aggressive outreach and education campaign,” officials said in a statement. Inspections and enforcement will begin Sept. 13. Fines for not adhering to the order start at $1,000 and tick upward for subsequent violations. De Blasio said at a press conference Monday, “We want people to enjoy the fullness of the city, but you got to be vaccinated to do it,” The mandate, along with additional incentives, is part of a continued push to encourage residents to get the COVID-19 vaccine. According to data from the Citywide Immunization Registry, nearly 63% of all NYC residents have received at least one dose, and 56.6% are fully vaccinated.
De Blasio even cheerfully outlines all the things accessible to those willing to risk the jab, gloating about how fantastic the Boogie Down Bronx event was and asking others who haven’t gotten vaccinated to do so in order to be allowed to partake.
Joining him just over 3-minutes into the video is a group called Force MDS who sing a sampling of their music. And what would a song be if vaccinations weren’t cleverly inserted into their groovin ditty:

DeBlasio urges those interested in attending to go to nyc.gov/homecomingweek for a list of events and to get tickets. His goal, of course, being vaccine compliance as a quick visit to the site reveals that events are open only to those who’ve taken the jab and can prove it.
