Kirsters Baish| The media has made no qualms about jumping down President Trump’s throat following his condemnation of the White Supremacists who are responsible for the Charlottesville terror attack.

Most reporters have tried to blame the president for the violent behavior, even calling him a White Supremacist sympathizer. Instead of remember the real tragedy, the death of Heather Heyer, the media would rather point fingers and play the blame game. Heyer’s mother has spoken up, however, and she has something very different to say.

Heyer’s mother released a statement to the mainstream media THANKING President Trump for his stand against the hatred and terror. Susan Bro’s statement read, “thank you, President Trump, for those words of comfort and for denouncing those who promote violence and hatred. My condolences, also, to the grieving families of the two state troopers and quick recovering for those injured.”

Bro’s statement followed President Trump’s press conference in which he condemned the White Supremacists who were responsible for the destruction and violence that took place in Charlottesville, Virginia last week.

President Trump stated, “racism is evil. And those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, White Supremacists, and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans.”

President Trump went on to say, “two days ago, a young American woman, Heather Heyer, was tragically killed. Her death fills us with grief, and we send her family our thoughts, our prayers, and our love. We also mourn the two Virginia state troopers who died in service to their community, their commonwealth, and their country. Troopers Jay Cullen and Burke Bates exemplify the very best of America, and our hearts go out to their families, their friends, and every member of American law enforcement.

These three fallen Americans embody the goodness and decency of our nation. In times such as these, America has always shown its true character: responding to hate with love, division with unity, and violence with an unwavering resolve for justice.”

The media refuses to report that President Trump has shown his support to the victims, and he has condemned the hateful people who caused such grief in our country. Instead, the media has decided to claim that President Trump has not shown his support and has been indifferent to the violence that has occurred. Maybe hearing Bro’s statement will change their tune. If a victim’s mother can express her gratitude towards our president for standing up for what’s right, shouldn’t the media?
