After guaranteeing that Joe Biden will run for re-election in 2024, Harris is now walking back what she stated a few days ago and it’s not the “ticket mate” part but it’s the “running” part. Well, for legal reasons, Harris should have chosen her words more carefully.

By the way, who uses “ticket mate” instead of “running mate”? Sometimes it seems as though she is from another planet or more like acquired the “Biden’s disease.”

Apparently, Harris told CNN earlier this week that Joe Biden was running for reelection, and she would be his running mate, “full stop.”

In an interview with CNN’s Dana Bash, Harris was asked about speculation that Biden would not run and about her own potential candidacy.

“Joe Biden is running for reelection, and I will be his ticket mate,” Harris said.“Full stop.”

But Harris later released a second statement to “clarify” her earlier remarks regarding Biden’s 2024 plans. As she got ready to board Air Force Two for her journey to California, Harris spoke to a Times reporter on Wednesday.
“The president intends to run and if he does, I will be his ticket mate. We will run together,” The Vice President said.

The crucial distinction between “is running for re-election” and “intends to run,” using the present tense could create campaign-finance implications for the same reason that the white house hasn’t officially declared Biden’s candidacy despite the fact that Biden consistently stated that he will run for president in 2024.

Biden, who at 79 is the oldest person to be inaugurated as president and is likely to be stuck with the rating of 38 Percent again, and Members of Biden’s own party are scrutinizing his plans for 2024 due to his age and low approval numbers.

Well, we can fully understand why the Democrats would be taking it day by day when trying to predict Biden’s fitness to run in 2024.

According to Los Angeles Times:

The deliberate clarification on Wednesday is certain to raise questions about Biden’s intentions, which have been the subject of speculation since the 2020 election. Biden, 79, is the oldest president in American history.

A prominent Democrat who is close to the White House said Harris’ comments on Wednesday were not an indication that Biden’s thinking has changed about running for reelection. Biden and other White House officials have said repeatedly that he expects to campaign for reelection.

On June 19, after speculations surfaced that he was contemplating Republican Wyoming Senator Liz Cheney, Biden declared to a reporter that he would unquestionably choose Harris as his running mate in 2024.

It seems that Biden is quietly close with Harris.

However, in a report by CNN, rumors leaking that Biden and Harris are allegedly in complete disarray and are at odds with one another.

CNN reports claims that Biden’s administration associates have avoided Harris because they see “entrenched dysfunction and lack of focus” from her.

Meanwhile, members of Biden’s inner circle have essentially been charged with racism by Harris’ allies for failing to stand up for her.
