Congresswoman Nydia Velázquez went after conservative teenager CJ Pearson on Tuesday, saying that he should “learn her name” and that he’s “right to be afraid of us” — referring to herself and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
During the State of the Union address, Pearson, a 16-year-old political commentator, noted on Twitter that Ocasio-Cortez was talking through President Donald Trump’s “entire speech and the woman next to her keeps trying to look the other way.”
.@AOC has been talking this entire speech and the woman next to her keeps trying to look the other way 😂😂.

Velázquez was promptly ratioed, with only 921 people “liking” her tweet and nearly 5,000 people responding — mostly in defense of Pearson.
Why are you threatening a child.

Pearson responded sharply, by saying “I’m sorry if I bruised your ego but genuinely, I really don’t know you are. Do less tweeting and more work, Congresswoman. Maybe, then, more Americans will know your name. Be blessed.”

Ouch.
Unlike her tweet, well-spoken Georgia teen’s response garnered nearly 12,000 “likes.”
This is a sitting Democratic member of Congress, @ReElectNydia, threatening a kid, @thecjpearson, and telling him that Americans should fear members of Congress.
This after Swalwell threatened to nuke gun owners, and other Dems threaten to jail for exercising freedom of speech. https://t.co/hh3qlLynzg

Pearson has been blogging about politics since he was just eight years old. He has been a popular and fierce supporter of President Donald Trump, despite growing up in a Democratic family.
“It’s a shame to see elected officials seeking to instill fear into those they’re supposedly supposed to ‘represent’. It is increasingly evident that Democrats are the party of hate and division,” Pearson told the Gateway Pundit when asked about the tweets.
I’m sorry, Congresswoman, but as @realDonaldTrump said – socialism will NOT be the future of this country.
And Nydia, nothing about you nor @AOC scares me. It’s your policies- that jeopardize the stability of our nation and the future of my generation- that scare me. https://t.co/UjHHwSaCpv
