The 78-year-old Brit Hume is known for being mild-mannered and his analysis is always based on facts.
And whatever Brit did in the “Jan 6th” event, he nailed it with a truth bomb so big, it’ll blow a gaping hole in the Dems narrative.
He always makes sure that whatever comments he made was carefully made with his analysis. He’s not the type that would go too crazy.
Brit is not a fan of exaggeration and hyperbole.
This is why every comment and analysis he made carries a lot of weight and he’s very on point while he told Tucker of what happened during the Capitol on January 6th.
As previously reported, Pelosi made a statement about the January 6TH and how it sounded very off just like a poorly made daytime soap opera that has no evidence and zero back-ups to prove what she said about the Capitol riot, provided that the whole Capitol is wired with surveillance inside and out.
Brit’s take – while agreeing that the understaffed Capitol Police were overwhelmed – is that for the most part, the events on January 6th were “mostly peaceful.”
He’s right.
He compared what happened for those 3 hours, versus what we all saw happen for 3 violent months with the “Summer of Love.”
And as Brit points out, many, many people were peacefully milling about inside the Capitol….after being “invited inside.”
In addition, Brit says that the real investigation should be into why the Cap police were so understaffed that day, especially when they knew that hordes of Trump supporters were coming into town.
I’ll tell you what’s infuriating about all of this – is the lack of fight and push back from the majority of the GOP.
They’d rather fight for Cuban folks, than Americans.
Look, I love the Cubans and am rooting for them all the way, but we need to fight the communists in our own country before we can seriously help anyone else.
To think that more than thirty Americans were being held as a prisoner and the GOP didn’t even make any actions about it.
I couldn’t imagine how they manage to ignore this kind of issue where they should have to resolve this first and make sure that these prisoners are back home with their families before fixing other irrelevant issues.
