Democratic Congresswoman AOC apparently dropped her socialist act when she swam in the luxury of a first-class seat.
AOC ditched the commoners in coach and cozied up to elites in first class on an American Airlines flight, avoiding the left wing altogether for a spacious seat closer to the cockpit after a weekend of stumping for comrades in the Lone Star state.
AOC was spotted flying from Austin, Texas to John F Kennedy International Airport in New York City in the first class of an American Airlines flight on Feb. 13. She was photographed while boarding flight AA1405 on a Boeing 737-800.
During the three-hour journey, AOC nestled into 21-inch wide seats with an extra 7 inches of legroom that coach passengers didn’t enjoy.
“I don’t sense anyone in first class knew she was there or someone of her celebrity was there,” said the tipster. “She was also pretty incognito,” wearing a large mask which covered half her face.
A one-way first-class flight on American Airlines from Austin to New York City on Sunday runs between $400 and $600. Economy flights are $300 to $400 dollars less.
Economy passengers had to settle for snacks and non-alcohol beverages, while first-class enjoyed full dinner service.
“They would have received the choice of sandwich with salad, side, or dessert. Alcohol offerings are available complimentary,” an airline rep said.
AOC’s decision to fly first class shocked some people who knew her before she became a national figure. They proclaimed that her socialist views might be weakening as she gets access to the finer things in life like first-class airline tickets and luxury vacations.
“This is definitely different,” the insider informed the Post. “There has definitely been a shift in her desires to enjoy the finer things in life.”
Even AOC’s fellow Democratic Congresspeople are surprised by her desire to fly first class from Austin to New York. The person said, “She lives above a Whole Foods and drives a Tesla, so she probably feels more at home upfront.”
In September, AOC raised eyebrows for attending the Met Gala, where individual tickets went for $35,000 and tables started at $200,000. Among her guests at the notorious 1 percent-friendly soiree were billionaire heir Benjamin Bronfman and Aurora James — a wealthy tax-dodging fashionista.
