Trump hits back hard against Boehner after low blow slam in new book regarding Capitol Riot and more.
Former Republican House Speaker John Boehner in his new book blamed former President Donald Trump for the Capitol insurrection on January 6.
Boehner said the Capitol attack was “scary, and sad” and “painful to watch,” while admitting that he “wasn’t prepared for what came after the election – Trump refusing to accept the results and stoking the flames of conspiracy that turned into violence in the seat of our democracy, the building over which I once presided.”
In a nod to what he famously labeled Jim Jordan, Boehner also addresses members of Congress involved in pushing Trump’s false claims about the election: “The legislative terrorism that I’d witnessed as speaker had now encouraged actual terrorism.””

Former President Trump hit back hard against Boehners slams in an email statement from Jason Miller, where he calls Boehner a “swamp creature”.
“Was he drinking when he made this statement? Just another RINO who couldn’t do the job!” Trump reportedly said of Boehner after Boehner wrote about Trump in part:
“I’ll admit I wasn’t prepared for what came after the election — Trump refusing to accept the results and stoking the flames of conspiracy that turned into violence in the seat of our democracy, the building over which I once presided.” The former House Speaker also wrote:
“Watching it was scary, and sad. It should have been a wake-up call for a return to Republican sanity.” Nodding to the divisions between the parties in Congress now, he writes, “Whatever they end up doing, or not doing, none of it will compare to one of the lowest points of American democracy that we lived through in January 2021.”
Boehner called what happened on the sixth “actual terrorism”. Miller, in the email representing Trump, also accused Boehner of showing favoritism to “communist China”.
It’s not unclear for people like Boehner to capitalize off of the few moderate fans they have left in the center left and center right of both parties. Many of these people are looking to make a quick buck of the angry people who are unhappy with former President Trump’s agenda and will use anything they can to attack him, including the unfortunate events of January 6th.
U.S. Senator Ted Cruz was also attacked by Boehner, who called him “Lucifer in the flesh”, to which Cruz was wondering why he was so obsessed with him, as shown by a recent tweet:

The Political Insider reported in part:
The cherry on the maturity cake for Boehner came in the audio version of the book where Boehner felt compelled to make the comment, “Oh, and Ted Cruz, go f— yourself.”
While speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference, or CPAC, Cruz took the humorous high road. He began joking that Boehner’s suggestion was, in fact, not a request he could fulfill.
“You know yesterday, John Boehner made some news,” Cruz said. “He suggested that I do something that was anatomically impossible.
