Paige Spiranac responded to a critic on social media who said she has a “horse head” after just being named “Sexiest Woman Alive” by MAXIM magazine in their 2022 Hot Issue.
The news that former professional golfer turned sports media personality Paige Spiranac had won a significant award broke earlier on Thursday morning.
The golf commentator made Maxim’s Hot 100 and posted pictures of herself on Twitter. She wrote, “I’m in disbelief after @MaximMag declared me the sexiest woman alive this year! Thank you Maxim for this great award.
Spiranac received praise from many for winning the Maxim award, However, she also received criticism from some. In a somewhat nasty comment, someone said Spiranac isn’t the “sexiest” woman living right now.
“Paige Spiranac has a horse head. Honestly. Dude has a long face,” one user wrote.
In response to a user who commented, Spiranac, who made history by becoming the first athlete to receive MAXIM’s prize, photo-shopped a picture of a horse over one of her most recent shots for the publication.
Paige tweeted, “Seabiscuit Spiranac,” in reference to the top-earning racehorse of the 1930s.

Spiranac is never one to sit back and let Twitter trolls get to her.
The 29-year-old Spiranac, who has 3.3 million more Instagram followers than Tiger Woods, also used her social media accounts to express her disbelief at the news but also how she is now prepared to party in Miami to celebrate her most recent prize.
Spiranac made the statement in her most recent Instagram post, which included the front cover and four of the most recent photos she had taken. “I am so honored by being named the sexiest woman alive by MAXIM this year, When I got the call I kept asking them, ‘are you sure?’ because I was truly in disbelief,” Spiranac wrote.
“To me being sexy is about confidence and feeling comfortable in your own skin. I’ve always tried to stay true to myself throughout my unconventional path and now I’m so proud to be following so many amazing women who carried the title in years before me.
“Thank you again MAXIM for this moment and to Gilles Bensimon for these beautiful pictures. Now let’s party in Miami.”
Spiranac competed in Division 1 college golf at the University of Arizona and San Diego State University. In the 2012–13 and 2013–14 seasons, she was named All-Mountain West Conference.
Additionally, in 2015, she guided the Aztecs to their first Mountain West Conference Championship.
Spiranac now serves as an ambassador for numerous organizations, including Shot Scope and Points Bet USA.
