Now that word has gotten out that disgraced 61-year-old Oscar winner Kevin Spacey is eager to act again, facts about how he was cast are starting to emerge.
According to Page Six, Kevin Spacey, who has kept a low profile after being accused of sexual misconduct by many men, is returning to the big screen in a drama about a falsely accused pedophile.
Heather Unruh, a former Boston TV news presenter, said in November 2017 that Spacey molested her then-18-year-old son in a Nantucket nightclub in 2016, and charges were filed in December 2018. Spacey had pleaded not guilty to the accusations against him in January.
Back in the 1980s, when the ‘Star Trek: Discovery actor was just 14, Anthony Rapp openly accused Spacey of initiating sexual attempts on him. Other accusers soon followed suit. The charges against Spacey have been refuted by Spacey.
Ari Behn, Princess Martha Louise of Norway’s ex-husband, also accused Spacey of dominating him under a table in 2007. Page Six stated that Behn committed suicide on Christmas Day.
Meanwhile, the actor has been questioned by the Metropolitan Police Service in London over six distinct sexual assault complaints dating back to 1996.
Since being accused of sexual assault in late 2017, Spacey has generally avoided the spotlight. As a result, Spacey has agreed to play a minor role as a police detective in the film, which will star director Franco Nero as the main character. Redgrave will appear as Nero’s piano teacher in a cameo appearance, According to Variety.

Spacey’s first big-screen performance in over four years will be in “The Man Who Drew God,” which follows Anthony Rapp’s allegations that Spacey made an unwanted sexual approach on him when he was 14. More than a dozen more claimed victims, including filmmaker Tony Montana and Richard Dreyfuss’ son Harry, have come forward. During his position as creative director of the Old Vic, Spacey was accused of behaving improperly toward young men. Spacey’s status as President Frank Underwood in Netflix’s “House of Cards” was jeopardized as a result of the claims. Spacey’s accusers included a number of people who worked on the show.
