A Georgia mother has been arrested after she allegedly shot a teenager in the face following a road rage incident in Georgia over the weekend.
But what she did after make me sick…
The fact someone could follow you for 15 minutes with small kids in the car, shoot you and then casually go to a nail salon like nothing happened says a lot about our society.
Douglasville Police Department (DPD) officers said Brittney Griffith, 30, from Temple, was apprehended after a 17-year-old girl was shot in the face on the I-20 on Sunday, May 1.
In a Facebook post, shared on Monday, the DPD said officers were dispatched to Fairburn Road near I-20 at about 4:40 p.m. following reports that a person had been shot.
According to reports, Griffith was stalking the teenage driver for 15 miles after she accidentally cut her off. Then, Griffin went to get her nails done after shooting the child in the face, according to the judge.
WSB-TV reported.
“Judge Susan Camp with the Douglas County Magistrate Court said Griffith went to get her nails done after the shooting.”
17-year-old Ashlyn Crouch, who was a passenger in the car, was rushed to the hospital and is in stable condition.
Griffith has been charged with four counts of aggravated assault, three counts of cruelty to children, and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
She was denied bond by a judge, lost her kids, and could potentially spend the rest of her life in prison.
This is sick behavior. I feel bad for those children. Hopefully, their fathers are around to take them in.
Crouch told WSB-TV:
“I’m doing good and I’m still alive. I thank everyone out there who prayed for me. God has kept me protected.”
