For some reason, we love to follow celebrity moms. We love to watch how they raise their children and take notes. A lot of moms just want to feel like they are not alone, and it can be humbling and refreshing to see that celebrity moms can face the same struggles that we ‘normal’ moms face.
This has been especially true with the pandemic going on. Surely, celebrity moms have been faced with some bored children and we need to know how they have coped with it.
Gwyneth Paltrow is a bit of a quirky mom, and we see that based on the interesting candles that she has been releasing. She must be a cool mom, a mom who is a bit different than your garden variety. Sure enough, we are seeing that she definitely is a ‘cool mom’ based on what she purchases for her children.
As a way to bring a smile to her 14-year-old son’s face and “just for fun,” Paltrow has purchased her teenage boy a 450-piece Boobs jigsaw puzzle by Jiggy and sat down to put the pieces together with him.
In a blog post for her website, Paltrow wrote:
“Home is where the heart is. Right now, it’s also where the work, dates, entertainment, and summer vacation are. I’ve reset my course a bit to embrace this new normal, and after three and a half months, I’ve found hacks that make WFH a little less taxing, tips for combating recipe fatigue, ways to move my body and quiet my mind and make sheltering in place feel like a holiday without ever stepping foot on a plane.”
Paltrow also shared with Goop readers how she and her husband Brad Falchuk are spending time together during quarantine.
“As far as workouts go, I’ve been streaming Bulldog Yoga, CorePower Yoga, The Class by Taryn Toomey, and Tracy Anderson, and I’ve been going for walks every day or every other day with Brad to get fresh air and a little sunshine,” the 47-year-old star wrote.
According to AWM:
Paltrow transitioned from a traditional career in acting to a retailer when she launched Goop, much to critical un-acclaim. People were shocked that she was hawking bizarre products, including a candle that smelled like her vagina. She labeled that product the This Smells Like My Vagina, and sold out of the hot product within hours of its initial release. She had a lot of fans eager to get their hands on it.
Paltrow now sells another candle called “This Smells Like My Orgasm,” which has also been very popular at the $75 price point.
Goop explains that “this blend is made with tart grapefruit, neroli, and ripe cassis berries blended with gunpowder tea and Turkish rose absolutes for a scent that’s sexy, surprising, and wildly addictive.”
