In a startling display of the deep-seated intolerance among radical members of the Democratic party, two “Squad” members egregiously attempted to silence Rep. George Santos, a Republican from New York, during a press conference at the U.S. Capitol Building.
“Resign,” they yelled, demonstrating the same disregard for open discourse that has come to typify the liberal agenda. It was Democratic Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Jamaal Bowman who, despite hailing from the same state delegation as Santos, refused to extend him the courtesy of a fair hearing. These calls for resignation came despite Santos only narrowly escaping expulsion from the House over alleged campaign missteps.
The vitriol in Bowman’s calls for Santos’ resignation reflected the intolerance of differing views rampant among the Democrats. His gleeful shouts were echoed by his colleague, urging Santos to “save himself” and “have some dignity.” According to the Washington Examiner, Bowman even went as far as to claim, “New Yorkers need better.” This overt disrespect for a fellow legislator is telling of the mindset that permeates the Democratic party.
Ironically, Santos was referred to the Ethics Committee for a thorough investigation on the very same day, following his not guilty plea to a 13-count criminal indictment from the Justice Department. He responded to the media frenzy and hostile calls for his resignation by simply wishing the gathered reporters a “great day,” showcasing the grace and decorum the liberal agitators lacked.

In the wake of the controversial vote, a heated exchange unfolded between Bowman and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), a staunch supporter of Santos. Amidst the dispute, Greene emphatically declared “Biden is a criminal,” highlighting the double standards in play as the Democrats were quick to accuse Santos while turning a blind eye to the actions of their own party’s leader.
Responding to Bowman’s claim of the Republican party’s dwindling support, Greene retorted that the real issue at hand was the need to impeach Biden to save the country. True to her word, Greene initiated the impeachment process against Biden the very next day.
Simultaneously, another conservative lawmaker took action against the continued deceit within the Democratic ranks. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna of Florida sought the expulsion of Rep. Adam Schiff from the House of Representatives, following revelations by special counsel John Durham‘s report that Schiff had falsely propagated a collusion narrative between former President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign and Russia.

Schiff’s repeated and uncorroborated claims of collusion resulted in numerous unnecessary investigations and wasted millions of taxpayer dollars, which Luna rightfully pointed out as she introduced the resolution for his expulsion.
Schiff’s response to Luna’s motion was a tweet playing the victim card, alleging MAGA forces’ retaliation for him standing up to Trump. Such a statement further reflects the liberal tendency to deflect blame instead of owning up to their actions.

Durham’s exhaustive four-year investigation, which culminated in a comprehensive report released on Monday, found no evidence to justify the FBI and Justice Department’s probe into Trump’s 2016 campaign. The report also implicated Hillary Clinton‘s campaign in fabricating the collusion story to tarnish Trump’s campaign.
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) responded to the report by recommending Schiff’s removal from the House. Schiff’s repeated insistence on the baseless collusion claims throughout Trump’s presidency, despite Durham’s clear refutation of them, raises serious questions about his integrity and fitness for his position in Congress.
