Madison Cawthorn Admits He Can’t Walk It Back!

There is no denying that Washington D.C. is a hell hole wherein corruption, sexual debauchery, and hypocrisy are totally common.

Last week, Republican Representative Madison Cawthorn (NC) told  “Warrior Poet Society”  podcast host that he’d seen outright “sexual perversion” in Washington, D.C., with lawmakers he “looked up to” allegedly snorting cocaine and participating in drug-fueled orgies.

Cawthorn did not specify if he was talking about members of Congress or others in DC, though many took it as referring to lawmakers.

He accused the left and the media of trying to use his words to divide the Republican Party after GOP member Kevin McCarthy attempted to intimidate Cawthorn over the claims.

“I will not back down to the mob, and I will not let them win. I will continue fighting for many years to come.”

No one is saying McCarthy is guilty of what Cawthorn alleges, but come on, just look at the guy… Now we are seeing reports of Madison Cawthorn refusing to back down from his previous claims, because, well—they’re true, and anyone who can’t see that they are true is either in on it, or is naive beyond belief.

Washington Examiner reported that Roger Stone has come to the aid of Madison Cawthorn and claims he has first-hand knowledge of what Cawthorn is talking about:

“As someone who lived in Washington, D.C., for 41 years, who was once part of the Washington elite system, everything Madison Cawthorn says is absolutely true,” Stone said.

“And I can see why Washington elites would now be scrambling to try to deny it because maybe the voters back home won’t like what they’re hearing.”

According to a Fox News report, Cawthorn didn’t offer an apology in the statement because what he said is true:

“I just told him he’s lost my trust, he’s gonna have to earn it back, and I laid out everything I find is unbecoming,” McCarthy told Axios after the meeting.

“And, you can’t just say, ‘You can’t do this again.’ I mean, he’s, he’s got a lot of members very upset.”
