On Monday, West Oakland was covered with choppers and secret service as Vice President Kamala Harris’ first visit to the Bay Area since taking office.
Harris travelled back home to tour Bay Area water treatment facility to promote Joe Biden’s infrastructure proposal and also also took the time to visit local businesses.
“It’s good to be home,” the vice president said as she visited Red Door Catering, a local catering service.
After she got 81 million votes, there were no supporters showed up to greet Kamala Harris in her own hometown.
A random woman took a photo of Kamala Harris’s motorcade and another woman was surprised to hear Harris was in Oakland today.
