One Ohio Republican is so ready for a fight against RINOs and Dems.
After Republicans announced that they will investigate Dr. Anthony Fauci, Republican Rep. Jim Jordan also warns that the Democrats committee investigating the incident at the U.S. Capitol last January is a “political operation” aimed at stopping Donald Trump from running for president in 2024.
Here’s what Jordan said:
“There’s been subpoenas issued to 11 individuals, 11 American citizens who asked the government permission on an application to hold the Trump rally,” he added. “The government granted it and now the January 6 committee petitions them to ask them questions about exercising their First Amendment right to assemble.”
“And why would they subpoena me? I didn’t do anything wrong — I talked to the president,” Jordan said. “I talk to the president all the time. I just think that’s — you know where I’m at on this commission — this is all about going after President Trump. That seems obvious.”
“Everyone in the country sees this as a political operation. This is designed to get after President Trump. Because they don’t want him to run again,” he added.
Just this week, the Republican lawmakers announces that once they win back and take control of Congress in the 2022 midterm elections, they will investigate Fauci.
According to Jordan, the Republicans will “uncover” everything Fauci knew about the origins of the coronavirus pandemic.
Jordan said, adding that his colleagues would push for a congressional investigation into the origins of the coronavirus “If the American people put us back in charge, we are definitely going to do this.”
“Because we now know without a doubt that Dr. Fauci knew on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 that this thing came from a lab,” Jordan argued. “The top scientists in the country were saying it came from a lab. One scientist says we got the notes now from the conference call on February 1st. One scientist says, ‘I don’t see how this can happen in nature, but it would be easy to do in a lab.’”
“And yet just in a matter of days, they changed their position, write the article that appears in Nature of Medicine Magazine, which then gets cited in the now-famous letter The Lancet, which became the gospel for the fact that Fauci can go out and tell people it didn’t come from a lab when in fact they knew it did,” Jordan continued.
“The interesting thing is. We point this out. We just learned this last week, the two doctors who were most adamant that this thing came from a lab early on: one is Dr. Kristian Anderson. On Jan. 31, 2020, he says this to Dr. Fauci in an email: ‘Virus looks engineered. Virus not consistent with evolutionary theory.’ So, he knew it came from a lab,” he added.
“They changed their position,” Jordan argued. “And a few months later, guess what? They get an $8.9 million, both him and Dr. [Robert] Garry – the guy who said it couldn’t happen naturally.”

Texas GOP Rep. Chip Roy also said “When are we going to have accountability for Anthony Fauci? Look, he’s missing right now for one reason, and one reason only: The Democrats are looking at the polls. It wasn’t dead Americans that made Democrats move. It wasn’t dead Americans that made Fauci go away. It was the polls. And I want to hold Anthony Fauci accountable.”
“And if you’re watching this, Dr. Fauci, look out because when the Americans give us control in the House of Representatives, God willing, we’re going to get some answers on behalf of the American people,” he added.
