Her RSVP To Her Niece’s Wedding Is Blowing Up For All The Wrong Reasons..

Most of us know that getting married during the COVID pandemic wasn’t easy – this is because of the number of people being limited. But our featured story for today didn’t take it well after not getting a plus one.

A bride has revealed the furious RSVP she received from her aunt after not inviting her partner of two years to the wedding.

She wrote, “This is the rudest and hurtful invitation ever. Family shouldn’t separate family. You shouldn’t have sent one at all.”

Pissed by the immature behavior of her Aunt, the bride posted the received RSVP picture on Reddit and added a caption that said that all the drama just as I didn’t invite her partner due to the restrictions.

As the readers were confused about the entire story therefore the bride’s maid of honor elaborated on the situation by letting the users know that Danny was aunt Edith’s boyfriend and they had been dating for two years.

She revealed that Danny didn’t have any major part in their lives and the couple had met this guy only a few times.

She added that Danny wasn’t a good company to be around and they somehow tolerated his company. She also revealed that before the wedding it was made clear to the guests that the number of invites had to be cut down keeping in mind the pandemic restrictions and ultimately for the health and safety of their loved ones the rules had to be followed.

Aunt Edith not only wrote this angry note all over the wedding invitation, but she also refused to attend. She marked that she declines with regret and wants the bride to know that the only reason she is not attending is that she was not allowed to bring Uncle Danny along with her.

Folks online have mixed reactions to the photo the bride posted:

One person simply called the angry aunt an “overwrought drama queen.”

Another woman wrote, “That’s a quick way to quit being invited to family gatherings ever again. Yeesh, Aunt Edith.”

“It’s possible to think the couple was rude for not inviting a guest’s long-term partner while also thinking the aunt’s reaction was over the top,” another woman explained, trying to remain neutral.

“I think COVID makes a very big difference, though. Without Covid, you should invite partners. With Covid, guest lists are very restricted.”

“My aunt did almost this exact same thing for my wedding years ago. Our venue had a 120 person max limit, so I didn’t give my aunt a plus one for her flavor of the week boyfriend,” she wrote.
