Valentine’s Day is a time for lovers to express their love for each other by showering each other with gifts and special gestures. However, for one rich housewife in Dubai, her husband’s gift left her feeling disappointed and unloved. Rather than taking the time to select a thoughtful gift for his wife, the husband simply transferred $20,000 into her bank account and told her to go shopping for herself.

The woman took to TikTok to share her disappointment with her husband’s lack of effort and explained that she wanted him to show her that he cared by picking out a gift himself.

In her viral TikTok video, the 23-year-old Dubai housewife expressed her frustration with her partner’s gift, calling him “thoughtless” and “selfish” for not putting any effort into selecting a gift for her. She wanted him to show her that he cared by going shopping for her instead of making her choose her own Valentine’s Day gift.

“Ok, so today, my man put $20,000 into my bank account for Valentine’s Day. I thought it was really thoughtless and selfish. There’s no thought behind it at all. Anyway, let’s go shopping. Let me drown my worries in credit card bills.”

The Dubai housewife showed her fans on TikTok what she was going to spend her Valentine’s Day money on as she went on a shopping spree at a number of designer stores in the Dubai Mall. She fell in love with the Himalayan Dior bag and a custom Hermes Kelly bag that was decorated with Monopoly artwork from the board game. The Hermes bag alone costs between $8,000 and $14,000.

In addition to her shopping spree, Linda also enjoyed a luxurious lunch near the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa. She also went shopping for designer shoes. However, despite all the shopping and luxury, she explained that she was “kind of lonely” after being forced to shop for her own Valentine’s Day gift.

Viewers had mixed reactions to Linda’s story. Some people sympathized with her and felt that the man did not put any effort into showing his love for his partner. Others felt that Linda was ungrateful, given the significant amount of money her partner had given her.

Valentine’s Day can be a difficult holiday for some, especially for those who are expecting a thoughtful and romantic gesture from their partner. While it may be tempting to give cash or gift cards as gifts, it’s important to remember that thoughtful and personal gestures can go a long way in making your partner feel loved and appreciated.
