Former NFL Star ARRESTED After Murder Of Girlfriend…

On Thursday, Ex-NFL star Kevin Ware has been indicted in the murder of his girlfriend, Taylor Pomaski, more than a year after she mysteriously disappeared from a house party.

Ware, who hasn’t played in the NFL since 2004, was also charged with tampering with evidence, specifically a corpse. His girlfriend Pomaski was found dead in Texas back in 2021.

A grand jury in Harris County, Texas indicted  41-year-old Ware for murder and tampering with evidence, “specifically a corpse,” according to a release issued by the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.

29-year-old Pomaski was reportedly last seen alive at a house party on April 26 in Texas last year. Her remains were subsequently found in December in northern Harris County and were identified three months later.

At the time, authorities had already named the former athlete as a suspect in her disappearance. If found guilty, Ware will face a minimum of 15 years to life in prison.

More details of this report from The Daily Wire:

The pair had been dating for about a year before Pomaski went missing after the April 26, 2021 party at their home in the Houston suburb of Spring. Ware, 41, who has been jailed since June 2021 in Montgomery County on unrelated drug and gun charges, has been under suspicion for over a year.

Remains were discovered by Harris County Sheriff’s investigators working with Texas EquuSearch, a Houston nonprofit that helps crime victims and their families. Details were scant, but the remains were buried at a site in the northern part of the county that authorities said was “tied” to Pomaski’s disappearance. They were positively identified in April.

“Prosecutors presented the evidence to a Harris County grand jury, which determined there was sufficient evidence for criminal charges,” said Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg. “We will follow the evidence wherever it leads and apply the law equally to all.”

Ware is currently being jailed on gun and drug charges in Montgomery County, north of Houston. These charges are unrelated, NBC news reports.

“We encourage anyone who has knowledge of what happened between Kevin and Taylor to come forward,” Lacy Johnson, a prosecutor handling the case, said in a statement on Thursday, as reported by NBC News.
