Alec Baldwin SUED By Family Of Dead Marine Killed In Afghanistan….

Alec Baldwin is being sued once more for at least $25 million by the widow and sisters of a US marine killed in Afghanistan during the military’s chaotic departure from the country in 2021, alleging that he subjected them to internet abuse after accusing one of the ladies of being a January 6 insurrectionist.

One of the 13 Marines killed in a suicide bombing in Kabul in August was Lance Corporal Rylee J. McCollum. He was 20 years old.

The lawsuit, which was reportedly filed on Friday in New York, claims that after the incident, the 30 Rock actor found his sister, Roice, on Instagram and offered her $5,000 to give to the 20-year-widow, old’s Jiennah, and their newborn baby. However, after posting a picture of herself at a protest near the Washington Monument on January 6, 2021, ahead of the anniversary of the Capitol Hill riot, the 30 Rock star and Roice got into a public argument in January 2022.

The suit alleges that Baldwin’s “seemingly charitable overtures turned into a nightmare” for the McCollum family; Baldwin branded her an “insurrectionist” and accused her of taking part in the riots in response.

According to the complaint, Baldwin commented on Roice’s Instagram photo using his own account. “Are you the same woman I sent the $ for your sister’s husband who was killed during the Afghanistan exit?” Baldwin wrote. He also allegedly sent her a direct message, saying:

“When I sent the $ for your late brother, out of real respect for his service to this country, I didn’t know you were a January 6th rioter.”

“Protesting is perfectly legal in the country and I’ve already had my sit down with the FBI. Thanks, have a nice day!” Roice shot back.

“I don’t think so,” Baldwin responded.Your activities resulted in the unlawful destruction of government property, the death of a law enforcement officer, an assault on the certification of the presidential election. I reposted your photo. Good luck.”

The complaint added that Baldwin shared Roice’s picture on his 2.4 million-follower Instagram account while citing her participation in the protests on January 6, 2021.

The lawsuit claims that after that, Roice received “hostile, violent, nasty comments” from his supporters, including one instructing her to “Get raped and die, worthless c***.”

It’s also believed that McCollum’s widow received hateful messages, some of which demanded that she return Baldwin’s donation.

In the lawsuit, the family accused him of defamatory carelessness, invasion of privacy, and purposeful infliction of emotional distress and claimed that he did nothing to stop his millions of followers from contacting them.

Baldwin’s conduct was negligent and reckless as he should have known that making the allegations he did against Plaintiffs to his millions of followers would cause Plaintiffs harm, the paperwork reportedly stated.

This is the second time the Hollywood star has faced off against the family over the claimed incident; they previously brought a similar lawsuit against him in Wyoming. They are asking for $25 million in damages.
