Sometimes, I have to wonder where exactly the money is going in our government. I can definitely tell you that it is not exactly being spent in a judicious manner. Just look at the way that some people are on government assistance and buying stuff that makes you wonder how they are eating the other twenty-five days of the month.
Nobody wants to be uncomfortable in the way that they live. I know that if for some reason they started building a gas station, or a refugee camp across the street from me that I would probably have something to say about it and it wouldn’t exactly be complimentary.
In 2018, it was reported about taxpayer-funded migrant facilities the Obama regime used to house young male illegal aliens who were able to make it across our southern border. The facilities being used to house the illegal immigrant youths were a far cry from the cages they kept them in on our southern border.
Unocvered photos revealed a facility in El Cajon, TX run by a nonprofit organization called Southwest Key as part of the Department of Health and Human Services’ Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) Program.
Texas Tribune – Southwest Key’s CEO stepped down in 2019, after his business was placed under a huge amount of scrutiny. Juan Sanchez, a South Texas native started Southwest Key in 1987 with five employees, and over the next three decades he built a nonprofit with almost 8,000 employees in seven U.S. states. In the last five years, the influx of migrant children across the U.S.-Mexico border became a boon for the company, which has pulled in over $1.5 billion in federal contracts in the last decade. But the boost in fortunes also brought additional media scrutiny, particularly last year.
In the wake of the Trump administration’s “zero-tolerance” policy that separated thousands of children from their parents — in turn swelling the population of migrant children in Southwest Key’s shelters — Sanchez came under fire for a series of controversies. His $1.5 million salary was seen as excessive. Allegations of sexual misconduct and lax vetting procedures at Southwest Key facilities threatened to derail its shelter operations in Arizona. Then last September, Southwest Key told The Texas Tribune that Sanchez had an ownership stake in a property that the nonprofit leased.
Now that Joe Biden’s regime is firmly in place, young illegal aliens, many of whom are members of the violent MS-13 gang, and others who’ve been used as pawns to get adult illegal aliens across the border, are being relocated across America.
In 2012, Cotton Logistics opened a Midland facility that is being used to house illegal alien youths. The 700 bed facility was originally intended to be used to house oil workers and engineers in the oil industry. The camps are built like all-inclusive hotels with five-star hospitality, wireless internet and cable TV.
Daily Mail reports – The Biden administration is paying $33 million to rent a ‘man cap’ in Midland, Texas, to house 500 migrant youths, leaving residents disgruntled by the detention facility in their backyard.
‘They have doctors, chefs, three square meals a day, they play soccer all day. They are living better than us. I see them in new clothing, they line up for their meals three times a day, and then play and watch TV,’ Midland resident Shon Crabtree tells DailyMail.com.
Crabtree, 42, lives across the street from the federal government’s newest unaccompanied minor immigration detention facility that currently holds almost 500 male immigrant youths in a converted all-inclusive ‘man camp’ that was constructed in 2012 to temporarily house workers in the oil industry.
In an exclusive interview from his front yard with the detention facility just feet behind him, a clearly disgruntled Crabtree neighbor exclusively tells DailyMail.com, ‘President Biden is a piece of s***t. I blame him for all of this.’
‘A week ago my house was worth $300K right now it’s worth zero, because of this detention facility. When I bought my house I obviously knew there was a ‘man camp’ across the street. Oilfield workers and engineers lived at the camp for periods of time. They were professional living there, I had nothing to worry about.
