South Park is an animated TV comedy series co-created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone for Comedy Central network in the United States. The show debuted in 1997 and has received widespread acclaim since its first episode. It is famous for using controversial humor and satire to address selected social and political problems. Since satire is a genre where the main purpose is not only to bring enjoyment but also to make viewers reflect on social reality and think critically.
Now, in a new episode titled “The Worldwide Privacy Tour,” the Comedy Central animated series did not call out the Duke and Duchess of Sussex by name but directly parodied Harry’s memoir “Spare” and the Netflix docuseries “Harry & Meghan.”

The fictional Prince of Canada and his wife are the main characters of the “South Park” episode, who move to the little Colorado town of South Park in an effort to avoid media attention. Yet, the duo draws attention to themselves by promoting their book “Waaagh” and holding protest banners that proclaim, “We want our privacy! “, and “Stop looking at us.”

A “Good Morning Canada” host tells the Prince “some people might say that your Instagram-loving bitch wife actually doesn’t want her privacy,” seemingly in reference to Markle’s multiple Hollywood projects on the horizon.
The Prince angrily replies, “How dare you, sir! My Instagram-loving wife has always wanted her privacy! And you know what else? To hell with Canada. We are leaving. We’ll go find some quiet place where we can be normal people.”
The animated anchor also says in a clip, “Since our beloved Queen has died, all Canadians are finding it hard to go on.”
The Prince’s wife replies in reference to her husband, “I told him to write a book because you’re family is, like, stupid, and then, like, so are journalists…We just want to be normal people so this attention is so hard.”
Later, a “branding manager” meeting describes the Prince of Canada as a “millionaire, world traveler, victim,” while his wife is a “sorority girl, actress, influencer, and victim.”
Ahead of the show’s broadcast, on 14 February, a clip was released which showed Kyle, telling his friends:
“It seriously is driving me crazy. I’m sick of hearing about them but I can’t get away from them! They’re everywhere.” To this the character Stan replied, “Look, Kyle, we just kind of don’t care about some dumb prince and his stupid wife.”
However, the parody video has now triggered reports that Harry and Meghan‘s legal team is closely watching the series and this may face legal ramifications. According to a royal commentator, after the show launched a series of attacks against Harry and Meghan, the couple’s attorneys are “casting an eye” over the animated sitcom, the broadcast may now be subject to “legal ramifications” with the Sussexes’ attorneys, as it has been suggested.
“According to sources close to the ex-Royals, it appears that, like so many things with Meghan and Harry, this may have legal ramifications attached,” he said. “Their legal team are casting an eye over the episode to see what is wrong, and what could be turned into something more sinister,” Royal commentator Neil Sean told Fox News, claiming that the representatives for the pair are now watching the series closely for any more attacks.
But the makers of South Park have, as yet, received no legal correspondence, Mr. Sean added.
