ALERT: SUSPICIOUS PACKAGE FOUND AT HOME OF GOP LEADER!

Senator Rand Paul received a strange parcel containing white powder from an unknown source on Monday.

According to Politico, the FBI and Capitol Hill police are investigating, and the huge envelope is being inspected for dangerous compounds.

Paul said in a statement, “I take these threats immensely seriously,” “As a repeated target of violence, it is reprehensible that Twitter allows C-list celebrities to encourage violence against me and my family. Just this weekend Richard Marx called for violence against me and now we receive this powder-filled letter.”

“I’ll say it again: If I ever meet Rand Paul’s neighbor, I’m going to hug him and buy him as many cocktails as he can consume,” Richard Marx, a washed-up musician and songwriter from the 1980s, tweeted on Sunday.

“So, you’re a cheerleader for felony assault that resulted in six fractured ribs, three displaces, several cases of pneumonia, and part of a lung being removed?” Rand Paul’s Chief of Staff Doug Stafford asked Richard Marx on Sunday. Stafford was alluding to Rand Paul’s next-door neighbor, who had previously assaulted him.

Paul, an ophthalmologist, has been outspoken about his refusal to be vaccinated, frequently sparring with Dr. Anthony Fauci, the government’s top infectious disease expert, during Senate hearings.

When he tested positive for the coronavirus in March 2020, he became the first senator to do so. On Sunday, Paul told a conservative presenter on New York’s WABC radio station that he won’t change his position unless “they show me evidence that people who have already had the infection are dying in big numbers, being hospitalized, or being very sick.”

“I just made my own personal decision that I’m not getting vaccinated, because I’ve already had the disease, and I have natural immunity,” he said.

Because doctors are unsure how long natural protection lasts, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that those who have been sick still be vaccinated.
