Michigan’s iron-fisted Governor Gretchen Whitmer is getting some serious love from Democrats for her heavy-handed Covid lockdown tactics. But guess what? There’s a new contender in town who’s ready to take on good ol’ Joe Biden for the Democrat Presidential nomination – none other than Robert Kennedy Jr.
Kennedy talked to the Epoch Times, saying, “America is enduring an apocalyptic tribal polarization more toxic and dangerous than any time since the Civil War.” He’s got a point, don’t you think?
If he runs, Kennedy says he’ll go after the nasty love affair between corporations and the government that’s been “poisoning” our kids. But here’s the thing: Big Pharma and their fat-cat lobbyists aren’t going to roll over for a Democrat challenger. They’ve had their hooks in DC politicians for years, pushing policies that make them rich while ordinary folks suffer the consequences.
Now, Kennedy may be a nephew of President John F. Kennedy and the son of the late Robert F. Kennedy, but that doesn’t mean the mainstream media is cutting him any slack. They’re already labeling him an “anti-vaxxer” and trying to discredit his views on Big Pharma. The Guardian even went so far as to say that his own family thinks he’s misinformed.
But Kennedy’s not backing down. He’s spoken out against the long-term effects of vaccines, saying, “There’s a lot of evidence that vaccines are not likely to give you an extended life. In fact, they are likely to shorten your life and make it less enriching and make you a less effective human being.”
During the Covid lockdowns in 2020, Kennedy’s anti-vaccine charity, the Children’s Health Defense, saw its donations double to a whopping $6.8 million. He’s called vaccine mandates tyrannical and fought for individuals to have control over their own bodies – a stance that’s ruffled quite a few feathers among the media and his fellow Democrats.
In his book, “The Real Anthony Fauci,” Kennedy exposes some downright grotesque things Fauci’s done in the name of research and vaccine development. He accuses Fauci of launching “a historic coup d’etat against Western democracy.”
As a trained attorney, Kennedy’s been a real thorn in the side of the Democrats’ cozy relationship with Big Pharma. He’s accused regulatory agencies of being in bed with the very industries they’re supposed to keep in check.
Kennedy’s said, “When I began litigating and advocating on the vaccine issue in 2005, I was immediately dumbstruck by not only the level of agency capture within the public health agencies but the financial entanglements, which were unprecedented in other agencies that basically put agency capture on steroids.”
Although Big Pharma won’t be lining up to fund his campaign, Kennedy’s on the same page as his fellow Democrats – and some out-of-touch Republicans – when it comes to the war in Ukraine. He even told Megyn Kelly that his son has joined the fight against the Russians.
So there you have it: Robert Kennedy Jr. is stepping up to challenge Joe Biden for the Democrat Presidential nomination, armed with his skepticism of Big Pharma and his passion for putting America’s best interests first. It’s going to be one heck of a showdown, don’t you think?
