On Tuesday President Trump suggested that after Democrats had failed to find any evidence that he had any improper involvement with Russia they moved headlong into attacking him with fabricated stories of sexual misconduct.

It wouldn’t be out of the realm if logic to think that they are going with this line of thinking because of the so called locker room tape.

Admittedly, the locker room tape is not something that captures the President at his finest hour. That being said, we have all had moments where we have said stuff that wasn’t exactly primed for saying at the church picnic.

However, Trump’s opponents are going to go with this tactic now because the Russia well ran dry.

Once they decided to go whole hog with these claims, the President singles out Senator Kirsten Gillibrand who called for Trump’s resignation on Monday.

“President Trump has committed assault, according to these women, and those are very credible allegations of misconduct and criminal activity, and he should be fully investigated and he should resign,” Gillibrand said, according to CNN.

In response the President fired back at the Senator, calling her a flunky who begged him for campaign contributions in the past

Several of these accusers made the rounds on television Monday and called for an investigation into allegations against Trump.

Of course, the big question here should be the notion of there sohuld be some accountability held against people that make false accusations.

You can call anyone anything you want to, it’s proving it that usually tends to be the difficult part; especially if it was all lies in the first place.
