The Hudson City Schools in Ohio have been caught red-handed with a sinister curriculum that encourages children to engage in illegal conduct. Parents were outraged when they discovered that their children were given books that were filled with sexually explicit material, which has no place in a school setting. Fortunately, Mayor Craig Shubert stepped up and gave the board members an ultimatum.
This is not the first time that parents have become concerned about the government education system. Many have realized that public schools have become nothing more than political indoctrination factories that have no regard for the well-being of children. The education system seems to be focused on sexual liberation and turning children into social justice warriors.
During a public meeting of the Hudson Board of Education, Mayor Craig Shubert addressed the members, The Blaze reports. In a brief but hard-hitting speech, the mayor gave the board members a shocking ultimatum: either step down from the board or face criminal charges for distributing child pornography.
“It has come to my attention that your educators are distributing essentially what is child pornography in the classroom,” Shubert said. “I’ve spoken to a judge this evening. She’s already confirmed that. So I’m going to give you a simple choice: Either you choose to resign from this board of education, or you will be charged. Thank you.”
The community erupted in applause, as community members felt vindicated. Parents have relentlessly brought up complaints, particularly concerning an assigned journal that’s part of a literary course. The book, “642 Things to Write About,” contains numerous writing prompts that are illicit or sexual in nature.
Some of the prompts were shared on social media, giving parents a disturbing view of what their children are being taught in the classroom. One prompt asked students to “write a sex scene you wouldn’t show your mom.” Another prompt asked students to drink a beer and describe how it tastes. Parents said they felt these writing prompts and others were not appropriate for high school students.
Superintendent Phil Herman agreed that the “inappropriate and offensive writing prompts” were part of a supplemental resource for high school students, but he claimed that they weren’t going to be used in the classroom. However, he said that the board mistakenly overlooked these themes and would replace the book as soon as possible.
“We did not exercise due diligence when we reviewed this resource, and as a result, we overlooked several writing prompts among the 642 that are not appropriate for our high school audience,” Wilch added, according to the Beacon Journal. “… We feel terrible. At no time were any of these inappropriate prompts selected or discussed, but still they were there and they were viewable, and you can’t unsee them.”
Parents should not rely on the threat of criminal charges to keep such evil from their children. Families must start stepping up and being involved in their children’s education on all fronts. The government education system has been failing children for years, and it is time for parents to take a stand.
It is imperative for parents to know what their children are being taught in school, who is teaching them, and what materials are being used.
As a nation, we must protect our children from being exposed to sexually explicit material in the classroom. School board members who are responsible for approving such material should be removed from their positions.
The education system should focus on providing children with the tools they need to succeed, not on promoting a sexual agenda. It is time for parents to take control of their children’s education and put an end to this obscene curriculum.
