These Fox News Hosts May Be On The Chopping Block After The Dominion Settlement…

This week, FOX News caved to election data company Dominion, settling for a staggering $787.5 million. As part of this costly surrender, FOX had to admit that it reported erroneously about Dominion, although no apology was required. It’s quite evident that FOX made this settlement to dodge a lengthy court battle, one that would have likely implicated some of its top hosts like Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson.

Now, it seems FOX is looking to throw some of its hosts under the bus, particularly those who played a significant role in the lawsuit. Key stakeholder Rupert Murdoch didn’t hesitate to single out Maria Bartiromo and Lou Dobbs during his testimony. Rumors are swirling that Bartiromo and Jeanine Pirro might be next on the chopping block following this massive settlement.

As Conservative Brief Reports states, since FOX News agreed to pay Dominion the enormous sum of $787.5 million, there has been rampant speculation about the network’s next move. Unconfirmed reports point to two popular hosts potentially getting the ax, as noted by Radar Online.

Dylan Byers, the founder of Puck News, predicts that Maria Bartiromo and Jeanine Pirro are the two hosts most likely to be booted. Other reports, without any substantial evidence, even suggest that Sean Hannity could face a warning of some sort.

However, Byers also points out that there’s a chance the hosts won’t be fired but instead given a stern warning about their future conduct. He envisions two possible scenarios: “The first possibility is that Fox News C.E.O. Suzanne Scott sits down with Bartiromo and Pirro and anyone else who came up to the line of libel and says, be careful,” or “Rupert and Suzanne have already decided to elegantly and eventually show Bartiromo and/or Pirro the door.”

This entire debacle is a glaring example of the lengths to which some media outlets are willing to go in order to avoid responsibility for their actions. In this case, it seems FOX News is more than willing to sacrifice its hosts to save face. What’s more disheartening is that the network is prepared to pay a whopping $787.5 million to Dominion rather than stand up and defend its reporting.

The American people deserve better. They deserve a media that stands by its principles, reports the truth, and doesn’t buckle under pressure. It’s time for the media to be held accountable for their actions and ensure that they provide accurate and unbiased information to the public. In this age of misinformation and mistrust, we must demand a higher standard from our news sources, regardless of their political leanings.
