A 29-year-old woman who was unhappy over missing her flight attacked a Frontier Airlines ticket counter agent with computer keyboards and attempted to strike another agent with a stick at Orlando International Airport. But what was more disturbing is that her little girl has made a heartbreaking plea. Making the incident one of the most brutal travel-related attacks of the year; and a very tragic showcase of a mother abusing her precious children by subjecting them to a tragically unsafe environment of violence and foul language.
Dana Pierre was informed that she had missed her flight back to New York City and would have to wait for the next available flight when she was checking in for her flight with her two children.

However, Pierre unleashed a foul tirade, cursing at the airline staff and storming behind the counter, in a video recorded by a witness. She responds by walking behind the counter, striking the agent, then throwing a keyboard at her. At one point, Frontier Airlines employee Nidia Vargas pepper-sprayed Pierre, making her back off. But Pierre continued with her rampage grabbing other equipment and throwing them to the ground and even hurling some at workers.
Pierre was then threatened by one of the staff members, who said that she would “knock you the f*** out in front of your kids.” But the mother told her son to look after her daughter because “I am going to f*** up this b****,” after walking away.
The fact that the assault occurred in front of Pierre’s screaming children, particularly her upset daughter, is the most disturbing element of the incident.
Pierre’s young daughter was heard throughout the video hysterically crying, “Mommy! Mommy!”
“I don’t want you to go to jail!”
But instead of stopping, Pierre told her son to keep an eye on his younger sister so that she could continue the assault while heartlessly ignoring her daughter’s cries. Pierre picked up one of the separation stanchions from the check-in counters queuing area and attempted to strike employees with the metal pole before employee William Rijo managed to take it away from her.
The furious mother was eventually restrained by a security officer and taken away from the airline’s counter as her children followed her and continued crying for their mother. And as she is finally led away, the officer was heard repeatedly asking the mother, “What is wrong with you?”
According to the Orlando Police Department, Pierre was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. While she waited for her bond hearing, the Department of Children and Families was given custody of her children.
Pierre made a Facebook post seemingly expressing embarrassment over her actions and claiming that she is “trying to find help” for her anger issue, a week after her arrest.
As they are pleading with their mother to refrain from violence, the woman ignores and eventually abandons them, burdening her son with the responsibility of looking after his sister so that she can continue her rampage. Pierre’s sense of entitlement is even more disturbing to see her lack of care for her children’s physical and emotional well-being.
Pierre was released on a $3,000 bond, as Orange County, Florida court records shows.
