Both Hillary Clinton and her longtime pastor, Rev. Bill Shillady, recently released a self written bookhowever Shillady’s book is being removed from shelves after a very short period of time.
Hillary Clinton has been called the most crooked politician of our time on more occasions than one so it’s no wonder that the religious figure whom she receives holy wisesom from would also have crooked tendencies. Losing the presidential election must have come as a financial blow to menu of the citizens involved in not only her campaign but her life. In order to regain some income Clinton decided to write a tell all book about her experiences on the campaign trail.
Clinton wasn’t the only person looking for a substantial payout via a book relating to Hillary’s experience but this one came from a religious standpoint and was penned by Clinton’s very own pastor Rev. Bill Shillady.
Shillady claims to be a godly man but the publication in question, ‘Strong for a Moment Like This: The Daily Devotions of Hillary Rodham Clinton’ is now being removed from the shovels as the publishers have become aware of some pretty substantial plagiarism.
Just a few weeks ago, Rev. Bill Shillady, former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s longtime pastor, released a devotional book, and it’s already being yanked off the shelves.
Shillady, who sent inspirational messages to the high-profile Democrat every day during the 2016 election, first made headlines in August when he revealed Clinton’s latent desire to preach.
He recently released the book “Strong for a Moment Like This: The Daily Devotions of Hillary Rodham Clinton,” which chronicled many of the devotional messages he sent Clinton. However, publisher Abingdon Press is now pulling the title due to plagiarism.
Here’s the bold statement Abingdon’s president, Rev. Brian K. Milford, gave The Washington Post, vowing to “destroy” every remaining copy of the book:
Abingdon Press initiated an extensive review of the book and was alarmed to discover other content unattributed by the author. Abingdon Press has zero tolerance for plagiarism. Consequently, we have discontinued sales, will remove existing copies from all sales outlets, and will have them destroyed along with our existing inventory.
Clinton, who is featured on the cover of the book, supported Shillady’s work and even wrote the forward for the collection of devotionals. Its demise comes just one week before Clinton’s much-anticipated memoir, “What Happened,” hits the shelves.
