Spacey has been accused by several men of sexual harassment and abuse over the past couple of years

On Thursday, a judge ruled that disgraced actor Kevin Spacey has to pay House of Cards producer MRC around $31 million for alleged sexual misconduct behind the scenes.

The man famous for playing Frank Underwood faced multiple allegations of misconduct, but the most notable one here was the allegation he groped a production assistant.

Now, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge confirmed the judgement from arbitration, and Spacey must pay $29.5 million in damages and $1.5 million in costs and fees, according to the same Variety report.

According to a recent Variety published piece, “Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mel Red Recana upheld an earlier decision that found the 63-year-old actor had constituted a material breach of his agreements as an actor and executive producer on the show when accusations surfaced of his alleged sexual misconduct behind the scenes.”

For those of you who might not remember, Spacey was fired from the show for his alleged conduct before the series concluded. By the time “House of Cards” did come to an end, it was an utter train wreck that was beyond words.

MRC argued the accusations forced them to kill off his character for the final season and cut the series from 13 episodes down to eight. In the White House drama, Spacey shared the lead role with actress Robin Wright from 2013-2018.

Now, that train wreck of a situation has extended to the actor’s bank account to the tune of $31 million.
