Several years ago, my wife and I moved my family down to Florida after several years of living in a northern state.
Part of the reason why is that the pace of life was a lot more different down in the area we moved to. Added to that, a good portion of her extended family lived down here as well.
There are certain things that when a person gets to a point in their life they just don’t want to deal with the million little things that some people have to just deal with when living in certain places anymore.
President Trump is a New Yorker, but there are lifelong New Yorkers that will finally decide at one point or another that they don’t want to deal with all of the New York stuff anyore…
President Donald Trump and his immediate family have changed their primary residence from Manhattan to Palm Beach, Florida.
The New York Times broke the story and the President confirmed the news in the following statement.
“1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, the White House, is the place I have come to love and will stay for, hopefully, another 5 years as we MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, but my family and I will be making Palm Beach, Florida, our Permanent Residence.
I cherish New York, and the people of New York, and always will, but unfortunately, despite the fact that I pay millions of dollars in city, state and local taxes each year, I have been treated very badly by the political leaders of both the city and state. Few have been treated worse. I hated having to make this decision, but in the end it will be best for all concerned.
As President, I will always be there to help New York and the great people of New York. It will always have a special place in my heart!”
