HBO host Bill Maher thinks it’s unfair for Texas to receive federal aid after Hurricane Harvey and other natural disasters; wait until you see his explanation…
On “Real Time with Bill Maher” the HBO host basically thinks 
that conservatives are irresponsible and “more responsible” folks shouldn’t be in charge of bailing them out. Yeah… really! This guy has no idea what he’s talking about. He can go right along with the group of libs who blame the Hurricanes on president Trump for pulling out of the Paris Accord. Ignorance at it’s finest.
IJR| As Maher sees it, Texas’s low tax base and government officials’ skepticism of human-caused climate change disqualify it — and other conservative states — from being “bailed out” by “more responsible folks” in the country:
“These places that got flooded, like Texas, okay, they have a low tax base. So, the federal government bails them out. Their governors, their legislators they don’t believe in climate science.
It seems like the responsible folks in this country, the people who pay a little more taxes and the people who believe in climate change are bailing out the people who hate government, except when they need government when they’re in trouble. That seems a little unfair.”
“Suddenly, socialism is not such a bad idea,“ Maher told panelists, ”when you’re standing in toxic floodwater”:
If you ever lived in a hurricane prone area, you know climate change has nothing to do with natural disasters. This guy is an ignorant, hollywood idiot that needs to be quiet. Get a REAL life, you just might learn a thing or two Maher. Like this fun fact, Faith based groups provide the bulk of disaster recovery in coordination with FEMA.
Yep, that’s right, those God believing, conservative folks. Conservatism is for limited government, not no government. It doesn’t mean that you don’t think government plays a role. This whole “socialism looks good now” argument is so infantile. Flood relief is a legitimate government function that we all pay for.
