A Workout Mom Has Been Accused Of “Overtraining” Her Children, And She Is Fighting….

The country singer is hitting back at trolls accusing her of photoshopping and “overtraining” her children.

Jessie James Decker is not gonna sit back and absorb the hate.

Jessie James and Eric Decker are unexpectedly in the hot seat last month after the country singer shared some photos that were taken during a family vacation of her three children, Vivianne, 8, Eric, 7, and Forrest, 4. In the photo, all three children are in their swimsuits on the beach in Mexico. “Vacation Decker style,” she captioned the cute snap.

While the kids were adorable, people couldn’t help but notice that all three had impressive chiseled abs. And, while many people had nice things to say, the trolls were out in full force. Initially, the singer was accused of photoshopping the images, but later was hit with accusations of “overtraining” them – and she has something to say about that.

Now, Jessie has taken to Instagram again to shut down the negative chatter.

“I didn’t plan on addressing this because it’s bonkers but the photos are out there and every single news outlet has posted about this,” Jessie began her Nov. 28 post. “Being accused of photoshopping abs on my kids (I can’t help but laugh) or … the polar opposite over ‘overtraining’ our kids makes me realize how bizarre our world has gotten regarding the body and what’s normal and what’s not.”

The 34-year-old noted that her kids’ muscles come from DNA and physical activity—something Jessie encourages her children to pursue.

“We preach about body positivity and acceptance but my kids having a mass amount of genetic and built muscle from athletics is ‘weird’?” she wrote. “I want to raise my kids to feel proud of their bodies and hard work.”

Jessie said she and her husband, former NFL player Eric Decker, want to raise their children to feel proud of their bodies. She said Vivianne is a competitive gymnast, Eric Jr. is athletic and Forrest “spends hours dancing his heart out.”

She continued, “I’m proud of my children and encourage them to live their dreams. So we’ll see y’all at the 2032 Olympics, and wearing Bubbys jersey in the stands and dancing at Forrests rock concert.”

The Kittenish founder encouraged readers to “do better” when it comes to being positive about the appearance of others. She wrote, “Let’s not pick and choose what we normalize regarding bodies and be accepting of all people and children.”

Of course, not everyone projected their insecurities on the children.

“Well done Decker family for prioritising a balanced diet and exercise,” read one comment on the original post. “These kids look so happy and fit! Inspiring!!!”

Another shared: “I guess a lot of parents aren’t used to seeing this while stuffing their kids faces with junk foods and tablets instead of actually eating well and participating in competitive sports.”

Country star Kane Brown commented “they’re ripped!!” and singer Kelly Rowland wrote: “These abs on these babies, tho!!! I gotta step my game up! Lol”
