“Ellen” producer, and avid critic of President Donald Trump, Andy Lassner hurled insults at first lady, Melania Trump, via Twitter on Monday.

The producer, and sometimes on-air talent for Ellen DeGeneres’  show “Ellen,” said of the first lady that, “I’m way more afraid of another Melania getting into this country than I am of any caravan of human beings seeking asylum.”

Lassner’s comments were referring to the caravan of migrants from South and Central America that have decided they would like to illegally immigrate to the United States illegally, en mass.

The caravan, which is now estimated to be upward of 7000 individuals, has caused some fear on the part of Americans, including President Donald Trump who said just days ago that the there were also Middle Easterners in the group

That, combined with the fact that the first lady is also an immigrant, made her a target for the Trump-hating Lassner.

His tweet gained some traction on the social media platform, and the first lady’s communications director, Stephanie Grisham replied to Lassner, saying, “Hi @andylassner @flotus is hosting children at the White House today to talk to them about kindness … should I save you a seat?”

Lassner retorted with several liberal concerns, asking, “Will she be talking about how she pushed her husband’s theory that our first black president was born in Kenya?

“What about her ‘I don’t care, do you jacket’ worn while babies were being ripped away from parents at the border?

“What time should I arrive?

“Is it dressy?

While Lassner seems to have been given the opportunity to speak with the first lady about his concerns, as one would assume he wished to do, he still seems to be having a great time with the interaction

“Getting trolled by @StephGrisham45 and @SebGorka with a Breitbart article about my tweets (please follow @andylassner for non-stop hilarity) is making me so happy that it’s almost unfair.”

This isn’t Lassner’s first swipe at the first lady, either. His Twitter account has been rife with insults, and innuendo toward the first couple.
