Trump’s Reported Pick For Federal Reserve Board Sets Social Media ON FIRE

Herman Cain, the former CEO of Godfathers Pizza, who ran for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination, is being considered by President Donald Trump for the Federal Reserve Board.

Cain met with President Donald Trump on Wednesday at the White House, where he was escorted by National Economic Council director Larry Kudlow.

Two seats on the Fed board are vacant, and Cain previously served as chairman of the board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City Omaha Branch from 1989 to 1991.

In full disclosure, this writer was the California State Leader for the Grassroots of TeamCain during the 2011 Republican Presidential Primary. I might be biased! That was a fun year!

National Economic Council Director Larry Kudlow confirmed on Cain was a choice on Thursday. Sources said that Cain was also under consideration for other unspecified senior government posts.

The internet went wild…. Oh Shucky Ducky!

The president’s top economic adviser, Larry Kudlow, said last week that the White House wants Fed governors “who understand that you can have strong economic growth without higher inflation.”

Cain has long advocated for the U.S. to return to the gold standard and defends higher interest rates. During the campaign he was often quoted as saying that the Federal Reserve should not print money or manipulate interest rates, that the free market should decide.

He has also said he that he supports a strong dollar and has praised fellow Presidential candidate Ron Paul for his “steady pressure” to rein in the Fed’s powers.

There are two open seats on the Fed’s board. Kudlow also stated that the White House is considering re-nominating Carnegie Mellon Professor Marvin Goodfriend for one of those seats. Trump tapped Goodfriend for the central bank’s board last year, but his nomination expired in the new Congress and he has not been resubmitted.

Of course, celebrity attorney Gloria Allred, formerly the lawyer for one of the women who accused Cain of sexual harassment, blasted the news.

“It is not appropriate. This administration has no shame,” Allred said in an email to The Daily Beast. “They appear willing to consider Mr. Cain for a high level and very significant appointment despite the fact that Mr. Cain was accused of sexual harassment by one of my clients and in addition, he was accused of cheating on his wife by having an affair for more than a decade with another woman.”

Note her use of the word ‘accused’. Cain denied making any sexual actions towards the accuser and vowed to take a polygraph test if necessary to prove his innocence.

The problem with Allred, is at the time, sophisticated polygraph equipment, used by nearly 70 law enforcement agencies nationwide, proved her to be a liar.

Private investigator TJ Ward put both a Herman Cain news conference in Phoenix, and the Gloria Allred news conference with the accuser, through the system.

Ward said the $15,000 software can detect lies in people’s voices.

CBS Atlanta’s Mike Paluska played Cain’s speech for Ward into the software and watched as it analyzed Cain’s every word.

“If he is hiding something this thing would have spiked way down here,” said Ward. “He is being truthful, totally truthful. He is a man with integrity and he talked directly about not knowing any incident he is accused of.”

The software analyzes the stress level and other factors in your voice. During the speech, when Cain denied the claims, the lie detector read “low risk.” According to Ward, that means Cain is telling the truth.

In the section of Bialek’s news conference where she says, “He suddenly reached over put his hand on my leg under my skirt and reached for my genitals he also grabbed my head brought it towards his crotch.”

During the analysis of that section the software said “high risk statement.” Ward said that means she is not telling the truth about what happened.

“I don’t think she is fabricating her meetings,” said Ward. But, she is fabricating what transpired.”

Ward said  use the voice software, including the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.

Ward said the technology is a scientific measure that law enforcement use as a tool to tell when someone is lying and that it has a 95 percent success rate.

So BOOM Allred… such an ambulance chaser!

I’ll pass it to my friend, Mark Block… for some memories!
