A supposed meeting arrange by Chairwoman Kimberly Farah at Plaistow Performing Arts Center turned out as a complete disaster on Thursday.

A Kate Bossi of Atkinson was arrested after not wearing a mask and other several parents had gone to the meeting to demand that the Timberlane Regional School Board end their mask mandate. Kate was charged with disorderly conduct.

The Chairwoman completely shuts down the meeting before it even started and decided to have the meeting via Zoom instead.

The arrest was caught on film by Kate’s daughter, Jackie Wydola.

In the beginning, the police officers are calmly listening to the man trying to explain himself but the situation got heavily escalated after some parents forcibly entered the place of the supposed meeting.

I didn’t want to jeopardize the health of the staff and the students,” Farah said, according to a report from the Union Leader.

Instead, police swarmed the building to arrest the concerned parents.

“You are violating my rights right now. You are remiss,” Bossi told Sgt. Alec Porter, while she was being arrested.

Bossi’s daughter Wydola can be heard asking the officers, “are you seriously doing this, you guys. This is law enforcement. You’re not enforcing laws, you’re enforcing policy. That doesn’t matter.”

“Come on Sgt. Porter, you know this is wrong what they’re doing to our kids,” one man can be heard shouting during the arrest.

In my own opinion, incidents like these could be a lot more difficult if cameras wouldn’t be a weapon against police cruelty. Is this another judgment call for mask policy?
