During an appearance on CBS’ Face The Nation on Sunday morning, Bernie Sanders affirmed that he’s not going anywhere and will continue to push for change in the Democratic party.
He told John Dickerson, “The ideas we are talking about are what the American people and people in the Democratic party want to hear. We are the future of the Democratic party.”
As for why he hasn’t quite overtaken Hillary Clinton, Sanders again pointed to how low voter turnout is, including among poor people.
Sanders very strongly indicated he wants to see Hillary Clinton adopt a more progressive (read socialist) agenda––especially if he’s to support her in the end.
