Hell Freezes Over, MSNBC’s Chris Mathews Confesses Pelosi & Schumer Were Made To Look Like Fools By President Trump Emmanuel January 23, 2019 Government Corruption According to MSNBC’s Chris Matthews, President Donald Trump made the Democrats “look like fools” when he decided Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi military aircraft access for her scheduled foreign trip just a day after she insisted that he postpone his State of the Union address, claiming that he should wait to deliver the speech until the partial government shutdown comes to an end. During his show, “Hardball,” Matthews said to the panel, “[Democrats] were in the bus heading to Joint Base (Andrews). He made them look like fools sitting in the Capitol in the driveway, basically trying to figure out what’s coming next. He caught them in the act as if they were sneaking out of town and made them look stupid.” Matthews is generally a critic of President Trump, even calling the move a “political dirty trick” made by the President. MSNBC analyst Ben Rhodes, who spent time serving in the Obama White House, also put his two cents in saying, “I’m trying to imagine the discussion in the White House where they decide, ‘Oh, we have to get Pelosi back for what she did,’ and someone is scouring the schedule and somehow thinks it’s a good idea to embarrass the speaker of the House and to deny our troops that expression of support from the third-ranking person in line to the presidency in our system.” Rhodes stated said the back-and-forth sent a “horrible message” message to the rest of the world. He said that they were likely wondering, “What’s going on in the United States of America?” Matthews stated that the foreign trip was “hardly a pleasure trip for the Paris Air Show or something like that” since Pelosi’s Congressional delegation was not “bringing their spouses with them.” Then, the MSNBC host told David Jolly, former GOP congressman the Obama era, “Congress seems to have lost some of its class since you’ve been there. I don’t know what to make of this.” Jolly answered, “There comes a point in which… voters look at Washington and say they’re all a bunch of children, they’re behaving like idiots. I think this is that week.” Fox News reports: On Thursday, BuzzFeed News published a bombshell story, now discredited, claiming Trump directed his former lawyer, Michael Cohen, to lie to Congress about a real-estate deal in Moscow. The story prompted a rare public rebuke from Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s office, which asserted that the report was “not accurate.” But Matthews, appearing unconvinced by the response, said Friday: Not accurate “doesn’t mean it’s not true. In certain iotas ‘it’s not quite true.’ But it doesn’t deny the thrust of the article.” Take a look at Western Journal’s report on the matter: Leave a Reply Cancel ReplyYour email address will not be published.CommentName* Email* Website Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment.
