Mitch McConnell Backstabs Trump, President Facing Possible Impeachment, We’ve Got The List Of Republicans Seemingly Willing To Help Destroy Him

We are not the only ones who read yesterday’s cloture vote this way.  TheConservativeTreehouse first reported “The front-story is that Mitch McConnell organized his Decepticon coalition to warn President Trump not to withdraw U.S. troops from Afghanistan and Syria.  However, the more true back-story is McConnell warning President Trump that he has assembled his impeachment coalition.”

Under the pretext of opposing President Trump’s decision to bring 2,000 troops home from Syria – where the mission to defeat ISIS has been accomplished – RINO Mitch McConnell, the Senate Majority Leader, organized no less than 42 Republican senators to tell the president he shouldn’t count on them to defend him from the Pelosi-led impeachment that’s looming, unless he does their bidding – the bidding of the multinational corporate and banking cabal.

McConnell held a cloture vote to pass a “sense of the senate” resolution telling Trump he must keep U.S. troops in Syria… apparently forever, because the enemy might someday reconstitute itself.

Senator Rand Paul defended President Trump’s decision to begin removing the US military from the endless Middle East engagements and called out Mitch McConnell for undermining the president’s efforts to restore sanity to our defense spending.

President Trump, as the Commander-in-Chief, has no obligation to listen to the senate.

McConnell knows this and he really doesn’t give a damn about Syria, either.  If he, and the Republicans who sided with him yesterday did, they would’ve demanded Obama end that mess before it was allowed to grow.

McConnell used the cloture vote to warn President Trump that he must begin toeing the UniParty line or face the very real prospect of impeachment.

For those of you who have been watching the British elites block the Brexit movement in direct opposition to the will of the people who voted for Leave, this is exactly the same thing – the elites who lied to us to get elected then putting us in our places.

President Trump was elected by promising to build the wall, drain the swamp, lock her up, and to curtail our involvement in the intelligence community’s debacles that erroneously sent us to war in numerous Middle Eastern countries.

McConnell has publicly opposed Trump on all of these things lest any one of those things expose the corrupt nature of the ruling elite.  Trump might as well be dealing with Chuck Schumer as Majority Leader.

Actually, in a way, he is… the two-headed UniParty Schumer-McConnell decepticon monster focused only on protecting the interests of the multinational corporations and the international banking community that has spent years enriching Washington’s elites at the expense of working Americans.

McConnell’s “sense of the senate” resolution passed a cloture vote by 68-23 with no less than 42 Republicans voting with McConnell.

It takes 67 votes in the senate to remove a president once the House brings the Article of Impeachment to the Senate.

McConnell is marshaling the considerable political resources he has built over the years while nurturing the swamp, in the effort to convince President Trump to abandon his efforts to drain that swamp.

The Senate Majority Leader has played this game in the past, but against much weaker opponents.

He stood silent as Obama’s DOJ and IRS were used to target the Tea Party that, like Trump, threatened the UniParty construct.

Likewise, he remained mute when the Obama administration weaponized virtually the entire intelligence community to destroy the Trump candidacy and after the election,  the Trump presidency.

Now he’s demanding that Trump take his marching orders from the same intelligence community whose findings were wrong about WMDs in Iraq setting off this cycle of endless war that Trump’s opponents now demand we continue for eternity.

Trump is being told he must kowtow to the same intel community that continues constructing a soft coup d’etat against he to this day.

With the cloture vote, McConnell has warned President Trump that he has the votes to bring his presidency to an end.

The question is whether McConnell is prepared to actually go through with his threat and expose his party’s members as the decepticon sellouts they have been.

This would virtually assure the destruction of the Republican Party as currently constituted.

This president hasn’t gotten this far in his life by caving to threats, especially threats that would result in worse outcomes for those leveling the threats than they would for him.

McConnell hasn’t yet announced his intention to run for re-election in 2020 when his current term ends, but voters should make sure that he doesn’t survive his primary if chooses to run.

Voting for both McConnell and Trump, if it comes to that, would be a vote to undermine President Trump and to maintain the status quo.
